Established in Awka in 2012, Conifer Konstruktion began with a conviction: construction should deliver genuine value for money through professional expertise, effective systems and responsible management.
Why we began
WHY CONIFER WAS FOUNDED
A different way to build.
Our founders saw an industry in which qualified built-environment professionals were not always engaged or their expertise fully appreciated. Without sound professional input, construction decisions could result in avoidable waste, weaker outcomes and reduced value for clients and society.
Conifer was established to demonstrate another approach: coordinated expertise, transparent management and practical systems suited to Nigerian conditions. Our ambition was not only to deliver better projects, but also to influence how the wider industry works.

Our foundation
Conifer was established in Awka to promote professional construction delivery and value for money.

The company publicly championed proper structural design and received industry recognition for engineering services.

Institutional delivery
The ANAN Research Centre in Igbariam was commissioned, alongside published recognition for Conifer’s construction and project-management work.

Conifer has welcomed NYSC members, interns and other professionals into its operations, assigning them practical responsibilities under experienced professional supervision. We believe such hands-on experience helps emerging practitioners connect knowledge with accountability, quality and value creation—and carry these values into the wider industry.
