Conifer Konstruktion Nigeria Limited is a construction, engineering and project-management company based in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. We are responsible for personal information that we collect through our website and direct business enquiries. You can reach us through the contact details at the end of this notice.
Depending on the service you use, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, project location, building requirements, correspondence, enquiries and documents you choose to provide. Website and security logs may contain IP addresses, device and browser information and dates of interaction.
We use relevant details to answer enquiries, prepare requested designs or quotations, assess project requirements, administer client relationships, provide contracted services, protect the website and meet applicable legal obligations. Depending on the activity, our lawful basis may be consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with law or a legitimate interest considered under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023.
Information you submit in a contact form or by email is used to respond, seek clarification and manage the matter you raised. We may contact you about the same project or service request. A project enquiry does not by itself mean that you have agreed to receive unrelated promotional campaigns.
Conifer Live Agent helps us answer website questions and manage support enquiries. Some responses may be assisted by automated systems, including external AI service providers. Your message and relevant conversation context may be processed to produce a response or arrange a human follow-up. Please avoid including passwords, bank details or unrelated sensitive information in chat messages.
Where a document-submission service is available, we may receive plans, specifications or other project materials that you choose to send. Submitted files may be held in restricted storage and checked for potentially harmful content before authorised staff review them. A rejected file may not be accepted for processing. Contact us to arrange a suitable submission method for formats that are not supported online.
When you use a building cost estimator, details such as project type, location, scope, estimate assumptions and any contact information you provide may be processed to generate an indicative estimate and support a requested quotation or follow-up. An indicative estimate is not a binding contract price.
We use separate consent where required for optional marketing messages, including email or messaging campaigns unrelated to an active enquiry. You may withdraw that consent or object to direct marketing at any time. This does not prevent us from sending necessary replies about enquiries, services or existing business dealings.
Information may be available to authorised Conifer personnel and carefully selected providers needed for hosting, communications, website functionality, customer support and professional services. We share information only as needed for these purposes, to comply with legal obligations or where you direct us to do so. We do not treat an enquiry as permission for unrestricted disclosure.
Some website functions use cookies or similar technical information to maintain sessions, improve functionality and protect the site. Any optional analytics or marketing technologies should be subject to the choices and notices applicable to them. We apply access controls and other proportionate safeguards, and keep information only for the purposes for which it is needed, applicable records requirements, the resolution of disputes and related lawful retention criteria. We securely delete or anonymise information when those grounds no longer apply.
If you separately agree to optional website analytics, we use a first-party, randomly generated browser identifier (stored for up to 180 days) to recognise repeat visits from the same browser. We may record public pages viewed, session history, campaign and referral sources, device categories and selected form or contact actions. Where you also submit an enquiry or a document-processing request, your consented visit history may be associated with limited contact details you provided for that request. We do not use browser fingerprinting, and the analytics plugin does not copy project messages, document contents, cost-estimate inputs, passwords or payment details. Raw analytics events are scheduled for deletion after 90 days, unlinked browser records after 180 days and analytics-linked enquiry copies after 365 days, subject to applicable legal retention requirements for original service records. You can withdraw optional analytics through Privacy Preferences; this deletes the browser’s analytics copy without cancelling your original project enquiry. Refusing optional analytics does not prevent normal use of the site. Enquiry consent is not consent to unrelated promotional marketing.
Some service providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where a cross-border transfer occurs, the applicable requirements of the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, including appropriate transfer grounds and safeguards, apply. Subject to relevant legal conditions, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to particular processing; you may withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. You may also raise a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Our website is directed at customers seeking construction and related professional services, not at children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authority, please contact us.
